For the battle, I expect you're probably making somewhere from the 250-350k gp/hr range at fleshies, which is not quite as dreadful as the RS gold yews but nevertheless fairly fair. You could do better at a greater herb dropper such as insanity druids, for instance. (Herbs are extremely high right now.) Oh, and get a better weapon!
You ought to use dragon longsword at the minimum. Preferably dragon scimitar, or TokTz-Xil-Ak (obsidian splitsword) using a zerker necklace if you're able to get it. Abyssal whip once you get 70 attack. And if you are not picking up all your gems, you most likely don't need ring of wealth (because its main function is to give you more jewels ).
For the magic practice, you would be a lot better off charging air orbs (41k xp/hr, 292k gp/hr) or earth orbs (38k xp/hr, 302k gp/hr) than making Varrock tabs (24k xp/hr, 216k gp/hr). Or if you enjoy Buy 2107 runescape gold making tabs, switch to house tabs (21k xp/hr, 318k gp/hr) but the orbs are still far better since they give nearly twice the xp. Water orbs would be acceptable as well if your magic is too low, although it's a longer run for to them.
