If you are going to put the rookies into the year, what's the purpose of the next version of NBA 2K21? Is there if they dropped Ja Zion and RJ Barrett opals at 2K19, not much reason to rush into 2K20?NBA 2K21 is almost upon us and, as usual, Visual Concepts have made various improvements and tweaks into the on-court action. It sounds like the objective is to create NBA 2K21 available and more natural-feeling to new players, which is. Most notably, shooting and the Guru Stick system are currently getting updates that are fairly significant. But before we reach that, you can check out the first NBA 2K21 trailer below (including gameplay from current-gen programs ).

The Guru Stick has been a staple of 2K basketball for decades and for the most part, has largely gone unchanged since its inception. For NBA 2K21, we watched this to freshen up the game on the offensive end. In previous games, you could hold the Guru Stick in any direction. From utilizing the stick as a featured dribble 15, that was restricting us. So we are making a significant change to the way the Guru Stick works.

With this change, we've been able to greatly expand the dribble move arsenal and provide you access to more moves at a control strategy that is more intuitive. After a game or two, it will have you breaking ankles and is going to feel second nature! The motions, Together with the remap themselves have been overhauled to be chain-able and much more responsive. Street moves are transferred to a tap of the left trigger as well, which means that you won't be firing off them by accident when defenders in the Park're breaking down. Moves weren't the one thing that profited in the Pro Stick upgrade.

Bound finishing and shooting in the rim have been points of emphasis as well. We really wanted to make scoring the basketball a skill from the perimeter and at the bottom, so we brainstormed and prototyped a number of different mechanics for the game of this year. What we settled on was a notion conceptually much like something we attempted in NBA 2K17... Shot Stick Aiming. Aiming didn't work that well in NBA 2K17 since it was a bit buried, did not have a lot of skill built to it, and didn't provide the user any feedback. We took those used them to create a solution that was much better this time around and learnings.

For NBA 2K21, if you take with the Guru Stick, the shot meter changes from a timing bar to a targeting system. So rather than attempting to stop the shot meter when you reach the release window, you adjust the Pro Stick in time to reach the Cheap NBA 2K MT Coins center aim point that is ideal. The target window resizes dynamically based on player skill, the shot is contested, and shooting range and can shift into the left or right based on the degree of difficulty of the shot. Your shot will overlook in that direction, if you miss the goal far to the right or left.
